There is no doubt that people would far rather wait for a bus at an attractive clean bus stop, rather than a grubby shelter smelling of wee.
Bus Stops are also an important part of the “street furniture” – they can bring a place down, or cheer it up.
They can be a great place for notice boards promoting local events and sharing information.
They can even become homes for bees and wildlife, with green roofs.
So once our buses are back on the road, we’ll be working to make our bus stops beautiful.
