Sunday is D-Day – Join Us in Sending Off the Bus

We are equal parts excited and nervous now that we are finally at launch day for the 232 Daffodil Line. Sunday 2nd of April is Daffodil Line Day and we hope that you will be able to join the mayors of our towns in sending the bus off on its first day.

After over a year of hard work and amazing cooperation and team effort across our communities, the Daffodil Line is finally here.

As a celebration and a thank you we have invited the mayors of each of our towns to come and send the bus off, on its first day and we’d be delighted if you would join us too.

Here are the times

Ledbury Market House 10.32

Newent Lake Car Park 10.55

Ross Cantilupe Road 11.30

If you’d like to be at any of the stops, a few minutes before the bus is due to leave, to join us in giving her a good send-off, that would be wonderful.

We’re asking everyone to continue the daffodil theme with your outfits, please. Wear something yellow, or a daffodil in your hair, or go all out and come in a daffodil fancy dress.

Send us a picture of you in your outfit and there will be a prize for the Best Dressed Daffodil Line supporter next week. Send your photos by email to info@buses4us.org, or on our Facebook page.

Sunday marks the start of a positive new chapter for public transport in our area. After years of decline, we are finally introducing new, community-led bus services. It’s something to celebrate.

So we hope to see you at the bus stop: wish us luck!
